This study explores the microfranchising business model as a variant of traditional franchising, focusing on its application in two ventures: a startup in Kenya and a spinoff in Mexico. Using the Resource-Based View and Business Model Components framework, the research analyzes scalability and sustainability challenges faced in bottom-of-the-pyramid contexts.
